The Suicide Awareness Council is celebrating its 20th Anniversary

The Suicide Awareness Council is celebrating its 20th Anniversary. The Council works to educate, communicate and build resilience in suicide prevention, awareness and postvention.  During the month of September, the Council will be hosting a  series of events to combine our anniversary and World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10th).

The theme for our anniversary events revolves around the human-animal bond and its impact on mental health and well-being.  The first event will be held on Saturday September 7th at Fiddlehead Care Farm.  The flyer is attached.

The second event,  PAWS for Mental Health: The Benefits of Companion Animal, will be held in Guelph on Saturday September 14th. The flyer is attached.
