Join us for the day in the Niagara wine region. Our coach will take us directly to Rockway Vineyards, where we can view the stunning Rockway golf course while enjoying the Chef’s Penne Pasta Marinara with grilled chicken lunch and wine tasting.

Then onto the historical town of St David’s where we will visit Chocolate FX. You will enjoy the chocolate factory experience, with the opportunity to sample and purchase chocolate products. Finally, we will visit Konzelmann Estate Winery for a seated wine tasting. Trip includes coach transportation, wine tastings and lunch

Cost: 130.00 (includes all taxes and tips for the wineries and bus driver and lunch)

Refund Policy:

This trip is NON-REFUNDABLE; doctor’s certificates will not be accepted. Should there be a mandatory provincial shutdown due to COVID-19 or GWSA cancels the trip due to lack of participation, all participants will receive a full refund to their method of payment. Don’t Wait! That means booking your trip before the trip must be cancelled due to low participation. It takes time to put these trips together and we need your commitment to make these trips happen! The Travel Committee must give the number of bookings by Fri Sept 16, 2022   and, if there are not enough reservations at that time, the trip will be cancelled!

Accessibility:

Please inquire about accessible seating prior to booking your ticket  As with all buses , accessible seating is limited. You can help ensure that we use this seating efficiently as possible by providing information about your assistive device

Please note that:

*Travellers who will be using a powered wheelchair on trips are advised to note this when registering. While this trip is accessible, seating for a powered wheelchair on the bus is limited and will be spoken for on a first come first serve basis. We cannot accommodate scooters on the coaches

*Travellers who can transfer to a coach seat may have their collapsible , manual wheelchair or walker stored in the cargo area of the coach

*Lift Limit: 500 lbs maximum weight (wheelchair & person combined)

* Lift width: 32 inches

Travellers with a disability, who require assistance during the trip, must be accompanied by a person who is fully capable of rendering such assistance (this person has to be an adult) The cost for this assistant will be the fee published for the trip.

Parking: Please do NOT  park your vehicles in the Evergreen parking lot while you are on a day trip. Vehicles must be left at the Carousel parking area in Riverside Park where you will board the bus. This allows for other members to have a place to park when they come throughout the day.

PROCEDURES FOR BOOKING THIS TRIP: All participants will be required to have a current GWSA membership. If your membership needs renewal, please see the front desk staff at the Centre. The contact list is available on the GWSA website located on the Trips, Travel and Tours page. If you are unable to print this form, copies will be available from a Travel Committee member the day of the trip.
