Do you have a love of the arts but now find it more difficult to access the creative outlets that you once enjoyed?

McMaster University is looking for seniors to take part in a research study about older adults and the barriers they face when it comes to engaging in arts and crafts.

You are invited to take part in this study if:

  • You are an older adult 60+;
  • You are interested in the arts/crafts, but face some barriers to accessing them; and
  • You’d like to help us plan and develop new digital technology for older adults and the arts.

Participants will be asked to complete three 1-hour interviews. You will also be offered the opportunity to do a free online arts workshop. Participation will require an Internet connection and some ability to use the phone and computer. We will loan you an iPad if you don’t already have a digital device.

A small honorarium will be offered to compensate you for your valued opinions. Diversity is welcome and there are translators available as required to support you.
