Mark Your Calendars — Friday June 22nd — Evergreen Seniors Community Centre — 10 am to noon
Our seniors have contributed so much to our community and I believe they deserve a dignified and stable retirement.
The federal government has several programs to assist Canadian seniors in their retirement including the Canadian Pension Plan, the Guaranteed Income Supplement, and Old Age Security to name a few. In order to provide an opportunity to learn more about these programs and how to best navigate them I will be hosting a Service Canada Information session in partnership with our regional Service Canada branch. We will also discuss options for passport applications and other federal government programs that my office can be of assistance with.
On Friday June 22nd from 10 am to noon, there is an opportunity to learn about your Canada Pension Plan, OAS, GIS, your Service Canada Account, Passports and other Federal Government programs for seniors. Your Member of Parliament as well as representatives fro Service Canada will be on hand at the Evergreen Seniors Community Centre to discuss all of these programs and answer your questions. Don’t miss it!
