The Guelph Wellington Seniors Association (The GWSA) is an Ontario Not-For-Profit Corporation and a Registered Canadian Charity. Our Mission is to enable older adults to be active, involved, make friends and age with dignity.

Because it became an on call job for me

I volunteer because I like to teach new computer knowledge to all seniors!

I volunteer every year for Showtime. From childhood, I have been involved with all things musical. Showtime allows me to mingle with other seniors while keeping involved with theatrical pursuits.

It’s time to give back, life has been very good!

It just feels good!

I enjoy getting to know other seniors and assisting in preparing for main events like concerts, Christmas programs, wardrobe, and for the Silvertones.

We all have something to offer our clubs, whether it be organizational skills, knowledge, special skills, talents or just plain social skills. It is great to have that person who makes you feel welcome or call when you’re absent. We all help make it better.
