Lyon Pool is open for swims daily since June 26. Lyon Pool is free of charge and no reservation/booking is required. A maximum of 50 people per swim session will be allowed.

Swimmers will come dressed ready to go in the pool as there is no access to change rooms. Washrooms are open at Lyon Pool. Please line up outside the gate entrance where staff will complete a health screening with all visitors prior to entry onto the pool deck. York Road will be closed for the summer but Lyon Pool can be accessed via Waterworks Place. Plan ahead for your visit and read more here.

Swims will be 45 minutes in length starting on the hour between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. You must leave the pool area at the end of your session.

  • Senior/Accessibility Swim: 10-10:45 a.m.
  • Public Swim on the hour: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

We will not be doing swim tests this year. Children under the age of 10 are required to wear an orange wristband and must be directly supervised by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must be at least fourteen (14) years of age, wearing swimming attire, within arm’s reach, and able to render immediate assistance. There are a maximum of two (2) children per parent/guardian.
